M\u00e9rida, November\u00a030th 2016<\/p>\n

Dear colleague,<\/p>\n

We are pleased to announce the 7th Spanish Conference on Input\u2013Output Analysis to be hosted by the Autonomous University of Yucat\u00e1n on the 19th and 20th of September 2016<\/strong>, organized by the Hispanic-American Input\u2013Output Analysis Society (SHAIO), the University of Autonomous University of Yucat\u00e1n. Moreover, on the 18th of September<\/strong> the 2nd\u00a0edition of the Spanish School of Input\u2013Output Analysis will take place. In this first edition three courses will be offered approaching basic and interesting topics on input\u2013output analysis.<\/p>\n

Call for papers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and must be submitted (in Spanish and English) using COPASS-SHAIO<\/a>\u00a0before May 22nd, 2016<\/strong>. The Scientific Committee will communicate the acceptation of abstracts not later than June\u00a05th, 2016<\/strong>. Once accepted, the full manuscript must be submitted via COPASS-SHAIO before July 24th, 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Conference is fully open to the international scientific community so Spanish and English are admitted for submission. Submissions in English might be grouped together in English-only speaking sessions.<\/p>\n

Submissions must be ascribed to one of the following thematic areas:<\/p>\n

  1. Construction and balancing of input-output tables.<\/li>\n
  2. Methodological aspects of input-output analysis.<\/li>\n
  3. Social Accounting Matrices.<\/li>\n
  4. Applied General Equilibrium Models.<\/li>\n
  5. Analysis of physical and monetary flows.<\/li>\n
  6. Ecological and environmental economics.<\/li>\n
  7. International trade and value added generation.<\/li>\n
  8. Structural change.<\/li>\n
  9. Sectoral analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
